Summary

    This is the 11th movie of my marvel marathon. Peter Quill is too busy defending the galaxy and making a living for himself to do anything else. After saving him from an army of ships, Peter meets his father for the first time only to realize that his father isn’t close to what he thought he would be.

So there are many different alien races in this film and its hard to fit them all in this little box, but one thing that signifies identity is tight red leather clothing from the ravegers

This Movie is the second part to the great soundtrack you hear from the first movie. The songs in this movie are just as great as the first and helps make me love these movies even more

Summary

Peter quill after getting abducted from his home planet earth, peter becomes a space junkie and stumbles upon this stone that has too much power than he anticipates. He makes friends along the way of trying to sell this stone but is stolen by the infamous ronin.

Summary

This is the 3rd movie in my marvel marathon. Tony Stark, The owner of a huge weapons company seeks out to do a weapons presentation over seas in the middle east during war. He then gets captured and needs to escape using a high tech suit he built from scraps. He then later builds a professional version and is known as iron man.

Summary

This is the second movie of my chronological marvel marathon. It’s about this soldier who thinks that she works for a secret service of warriors that identify with the race of kree. After getting abducted and crashing into earth, she realizes that she grew up in earth and had a whole life before her journeys into space.

Well the characterization from one of the characters (Nick Fury) is a big thing about this movie. It shows the audience how he lost vision in his eye and how earth made encounters with aliens.

Do particular objects or settings serve symbolic functions? it’s a little of both, there’s lots of alien based or marvel based things in the setting but it is mostly on earth with all the backgrounds being mostly realistic.
9. How are the characters costumed and made-up? What does their clothing or makeup reveal about their social standing, ethnicity, nationality, gender, or age? How do costume and makeup convey character? Well the people wearing green leather body suits are kree, people with green faces are skrull, shield agents are wearing suits except for Fury, captain marvel is wearing a kree uniform but different colors
10. How does the lighting design shape our perception of character, space, or mood? There’s a lot of scenes that are placed just outside and it definitely helps pull us into big action scenes
11. How do camera angles and camera movements shape our view of characters or spaces? What do you see cinematically? I didn’t find much good camera technique it was pretty basic and used a bunch of wide shots about 90% of the time

What stands out about the music? honestly there is barely any music in this film and the music that is already there is just generic action music sound that doesn’t add to the film at all
